The Audacity of One Man

Go head on, Senator Obama. I ain’t mad at you, bro. Go ahead and make a liar out of me. I don’t normal have my ear to the pulse of this political stuff, but everyone at the station was looking at the Iowa caucuses. To the surprise of everyone, except for Obama and those who believed in him. Senator Obama garnered 38 percent of the Iowa vote, making him the first African-American to ever win the Iowa caucuses (I’m not sure how many African-Americans have actually participated in the Iowa caucuses, but still…).
It is said that the Senator delivered the best and most memorable speech to date (thank you Oprah. LOL). I admit that I was a disbeliever, but I stand behind the brother to pull it through. If he manages to pull this mother out and get the nominee, he’s got my vote. I just hope nobody shoots his ass. I don’t care what he said in his speech. America still has a hell of a lot of crazy, close minded folks (that why we still have all this controversy with people using negative racial slurs) and those of the bastards that he has to worry about.
This victory was enough to knock at least two of the democratic presidential hopefuls out of the running, but Hilary is still hanging on. He still has the watch out for that heifer. After this lost I am sure her campaigning will take a turn towards the muddy roads of politics.
Like I said, go ahead, Obama; be that conduit for change. I hope he wins takes the Democratic ticket. Somebody has to be the first, damn it! If not me, why not him? I stand behind the brother all the way. Or at least until he fucks up and then I’m gonna say; “I told y’all his black ass couldn’t win.”
Hey, at least I’m honest. You know how we do.
I will say this much. If Obama takes this shit all the way, blacks folks are gonna sho’ nuff show they asses. I think it will be the happiest black folks have been since O.J. got away with murder. You heard?

-One Man’s Opinion. Peace.

Oh, and if Obama does get the ticket can you tell your cousin n’nem to take their black ass down to the polls and vote. Oh, and please make sure they asses are registered first. You gotta keep that shit up to date ya know? I’m just saying...

you so funny, twin. IS ther any reason why I love you so much?

Check out this, from an Obama hater that I work with: Obama mentioned his church during his appearance with Oprah. It's the Trinity Church of Christ. I found this interesting...Brad
Obama's church: Please read and go to this church's website and read what is written there. It is very alarming. Barack Obama is a member of this church and is running for President of the U.S. If you look at the first page of their website, you will learn that this congregation has a non-negotiable commitment to Africa. No where is AMERICA even mentioned.
Notice too, what color you will need to be if you should want to join Obama's church...B-L-A-C-K!!!
Doesn't look like his choice of religion has improved much over his (former?) Muslim upbringing.
Are you aware that Obama's middle name is Mohammed? Strip away his nice looks, the big smile and smooth talk and what do you get? Certainly a racist, as plainly defined by the stated position of his church! And possibly a covert worshiper of the Muslim faith, even today. This guy desires to rule over America while his loyalty is totally vested in a Black Africa!
I cannot believe this has not been all over the TV and newspapers. This is why it is so important to pass this message along to all of our family & friends. To think that Obama has even the slightest chance in the run for the presidency, is really scary.
Click on the link below:
Be sure to check out their "ministries", especially the Dance Ministry!!!!!
This is the web page for the church Barack Obama belongs to: www.tucc.org/about.htm

i can't really endrose him because i don't know anything about his policies

all politicians are vague when it comes to telling the public what their views are (most, not all)

but i have no idea where he stands on any issue

Mizrepresent said...

@iventbyblogging - Smile, thanks!

@onemansopinion- See this is the kind of stuff they are gonna try do to break a brother down...here comes the dirt slinging, smh...some folks...btw He's gonna need more than a bulletproof vest, he's gonna need a bullet proof bubble.

One Man’s Opinion said...

James-If you wanna know where the man stands you are gonna have to take the time out and listen to the man speak. Hell, you can catch the issues any where in this age of technology. Now, whether he stands by or lives up to all of the things he says when he is in office is a whole other issue. But that is true for all of the canidates.
What we fail to realize is the fact that although the office of President holds a lot of power, the person that holds that position is not all powerful. He or she runs up against a heck of a lot of opposition. We call it a system of checks and balances to keep people from going power crazy. Sadly, it doesn't always work.

Dimples....I mean, mizrepresent (love that dimple), if only they made bullet proof bubbles. I am gonna pray for the best and try not to jinx my brother and say that he make this happen without fear of being shot. Now that would be history in the making, huh. But, hey, we know that with God, all things are posible. Let's just hope the brother has God, because Oprah just ain't that big.

@Twin...I can't believe that letter u posted! I don't endorse Obama, but didn't his parents give him that name?

What church said u have to be black to be a member?
That's an idiot trying to stoke a fire out of ashes. Get a life.

@Miz...welcome to the family!

Just so that you'd know, there were four others that ran for office: Rev. Al Sharpton, Amb. Carol Moseley Braun, Rev. Jesse Jackson and Cong. Shirley Chisholm (the first Black person and woman to make a serious and successful campaign for President).

My take on the Iowa Carcus is that it is the 1st one, there are several others to go in areas were the people, economics and social outlook is radically different. You can't shout a win with a Homerun in the 1st Inning in baseball. There are 8 more to go.

Also One Man's Opinion you made a mistake. Barak Hussein Obama is his full name. Mohommad isn't his middle name. His Church is non-donomination and was founded by Africans and Black Americans with the purpose of re-establishing the connection between Blacks in America and Blacks in Africa. That is their Mission Statement not their agenda. It is no different that Jews dedicating their place of worship to Isreal. I may not be Christain but I do respect what his church's focus is.

I agree it is important that people should get off the ass and do their own research and stop having people tell them what to believe in. Hopefully this blog entry will help.

Shazza, I appreciate you coming to my site. Everyone is welcome and every opinion is taken in to account (although only one man's holds more weight). Anyway, I did not make a mistake. I have no idea what Obama's middle name is. I just posted a comment that was mailed to me by a co-worker who happens not to like the man.
I could care less what the man's middle name is...it doesn't define him as a person.

Oh, and I new about his church. Somebody made a big to due about it on the new a couple of months a go.

Twin-this is also in answer to your question. I posted it because I thought it was an interesting take on someone view of Obama....someone who was trying to get me not to like the man. I thought it was worthy of being printed. Trust me, this will not be the worst thing to be said about the man...and if it is, he should consider himself lucky.

Mz.Bria2U said...

@Twin...I understood why you posted it. I couldn't believe the contents! What a total idiot. Someone feels pretty threatened!

@Shazza...i love the analogy of hitting a homerun, but have more 8 innings to go. Ur sho'nuff tellin' the truth.

@Twin...get off yo' booty and update the blogroll...u have 1 wk. Dad said ur laziness kept u from being a doctor or president of the U.S. ...guess he was right! :)
i told u to send the pic so i can post it..and whats up w/u and your friend in the pic on my slide??? i'm just askin'.

I am paying very close attention to the brotha and as it stands "he has my support/vote." Let not his affiliation with Trinity United sway our votes, Rev Jeremiah Wright has quite an affluent congregation. Thanks for sharing your opinion with your readers, it is interesting thought provoking.

One Man’s Opinion said...

Twin-you so dang bossy. I did send the pic because I don't honestly know how to do it. LOL. I appreaciate Shazza's opinion too, along with everyone elses. He wrote a mouthful on this topic on his blog. Nothing up with me and my friend. It was just at one of our annual Christmas gathering.

I was pleasantly surprised at Iowa. Barack was going to get my vote anyway and not just because he's Black. He really represents all I want to see happen in the country and because of our spiritual connection (I was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ when I lived in Chicago, where we are unashamedly Black and unapologetically Christian), I know that his values reflect mine. I am beginning to fear potential attempts at his life now that Iowa has passed. I want his speeches to become a little more brief and I won't be mad if he makes all appearances from behind a plexiglass shield, like my liquor store and chinese food clerks.

I absolutely loved the Caucus speech...

"Hope-hope-is what led me here today - with a father from Kenya; a mother from Kansas; and a story that could only happen in the United States of America. Hope is the bedrock of this nation; the belief that our destiny will not be written for us, but by us; by all those men and women who are not content to settle for the world as it is; who have the courage to remake the world as it should be."

My advice... Don't be an easy target... Keep moving and keep hope alive!

Rodney, I hate to put it on the brother but you know he gonna have start doing the pee pee dance when ever he speaks before a large forum. He best start talking with fiddy. LOL
