Although I am sure that some nigger, somewhere is having a nigger moment; today is a day of remembrance and reflections, so I will not speak on any of them today.
Let me start off by saying that I was happy to see that a lot of people today have taken time to post something on their blog to commemorate this historic date in history. Some, if not all have chosen to also post some type of picture showing the devastation of 9-11. I, personally wanted to use the one above because it symbolizes hope, in my mind. Today while I was at work, reflecting a little on 9-11, for some reason I thought about the beatitudes so I have decided to showcase them in my blog posting in remembrance of the events of 9-11 (all things lost and gained).
Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are they who mourn, for they shall be comforted.
Blessed are the meek, for they shall possess the earth.
Blessed are they who hunger and thirst for justice, for they shall be satisfied.
Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.
Blessed are the pure of heart, for they shall see God.
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God.
Blessed are they who suffer persecution for justice sake, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
(The beatitudes are found at Matthew 5: 3-12)
One Man's Opinion. (Blessed are the black man for someday they shall truly see their worth.) Peace.
