Busted

Well they finally got him. Yep, The 61-year-old Hall of Fame football star was convicted of kidnapping, armed robbery and 10 other charges for gathering five men a year ago and storming a room at a hotel-casino to seize Simpson sports mementos — including game balls, plaques and photos — from two collectors. Prosecutors said two of the men with him were armed; one testified Simpson had asked him to bring a gun.

What a dumb-dumb, chicken little. Why is it that Simpson could not just sit his dumb ass down and be happy to be free? And it wouldn’t have hurt if he had found some homely, motherly type, sister to settle down with. I mean, hadn’t he already lost enough? His reputation, his kids, his Heisman trophy, his little movie career as an “B” list actor. Seriously. How hard is it to sit your ass down? I’m guessing pretty hard when you are as narcissistic as Mr. Simpson. Oh, no, he had to get right back to the white women, who were too young for his ass, not that there’s anything wrong with that. Some of my best friends date white women. Of course they are white men, but that’s besides the point. Anyway, and if that wasn’t enough, he let someone talk his ass into believing that it would be a good idea to be associated with a book called, “If I Did It.” Negro, is you crazy?

So, of course they found his dumb ass guilty, of twelve very serious charges, on this past Friday. How could they not? After all, they set the trap and he allowed his self to step into it. They might as well just chop off his toes and change his name to Toby right now. He ain’t free. As a matter of fact, because of the serious nature of his crimes O.J. was denied bail. So, they currently have Mr. Simpson isolated from all the other prisoner, for his own safety, where he is currently working on his next book; If I Hadn’t Done It (While awaiting appeal).

To be honest with you, I gotta say that I think O.J. is getting what he deserves. I mean, I’m betting somewhere in the world, Johnny Cochran’s remains are shouting; “What the fuck is wrong with you man!” If you are not smart enough to realize that 13 years later, you are still being heavily scrutinized for the murder of your ex-wife and you are still doing dumb shit; then your ass needs to go to jail. That being said, I can’t wonder just how fair of a trial he received. One of the complaints they are setting forth in his appeal is that there were no black folks on the Jury. Yeah, like that’s new. The second thing is that they believe that the Jury was still bias for the thirteen year old murder, that they felt Mr. Simpson got away with. And I gotta say, I agree with ‘em on that count. Ya’ll know that just about everyone thought this was their chance to finally get O.J.

Oh, well…..

He had to know that white America was NEVER gonna forget this, but he probably thought they would. NOT!

FYI...I finished the book club selection. Currently working on "She's Come Undone" so get on it Mister!

As for OJ, yeah, we all know he knocked off his wife and ole boy. He just couldn't leave well enough alone. I want read the courtroom transcript (the attorney in me) to make sure justice was truly done.

I don't doubt that he had some level of guilt but that jury had to find beyond a reasonable doubt. Not clear and convincing and not preponderance of the evidence. Beyond a reasonable doubt. Highest burden of proof there is.

Karma is a bee-yotch!

How do you steal your own stuff? And if he didn't steal it because it was his, then how could be guilty of armed robbery? And if the jury was predjudiced by the earlier case, how can he not appeal the verdict and get another trial? If only Johnny was here.

Well, the fucker's famous. And famous for getting away with murder. I suppose they could have sought out some folks who don't read the paper or watch tv or talk to anyone on earth to find an unbiased jury.

The fact is, we could have all sat on the fencepost thinking we didn't know if he was really a murderer ~ just like he wanted us to. But the fact is, he couldn't change his spots. It was bound to come up again and prove just exactly what he's made of. I'm just glad he didn't do it by killing someone again.

But hell, what do I know? Maybe he did.

I too think the jury may have been tainted with everything that happened in his previous trial...who wouldn't be?

OJ should have packed it up and moved to another continent a decade ago. I can't believe he's working on another book...say word!

He should have moved to Canada when he had a chance.

Dude was being stupid. he should of at least hired someone to get his stuff back. he deserves it.

F*** him!

This has nothing to do with whitey... or white women, or white America.

OJ was just too damned stupid for his own good.

Now he is just another old convict.

No sympathy.

"If I hadn't done it." I laughed a belly laugh at that one. But you know what? I actually felt sorry for that fool. I think I would have gone undercover, cahnged my name and went fishing in the woods IF I still lived in the good old USA and my initials were OJS. I'm not sure what he was thinking but it was psychotic as hell.

Do you think "they" gave white america O.J. as a compromise for a black president?

I mean c'mon, we crackers aren't going to be able to take another O.J. aquittal AND vote for Obama.

Sarge,
I have read the 'trial of the century'side bar transcripts and other official materials that now, all these years later, make me question if the murder trial was not a set up to cover up for the LAPD. What I have read about the corruption of the prosecutor's office leaves one to shudder....

About this crime....I am suspicious that his 'conspiracy' was conveniently recorded, and that the jury was hand selected to specifically exclude anyone of colour, and that he was found guilty of ALL 12 counts- atleast 6 of them, I believe, for conspiracy to commit the individual acts.
I thought in the USA they only charged you for conspiracy if you were nabbed before the act was committed? How can one be charged for planning an act AND carrying it out? Every crime is planned, more or less.

Also, how could he be charged with armed robbery , and conspiracy, , when he was NEVER in possession of a gun?
And kidnapping based on the fact that they told the men to stand over against the wall???

Come on! Anyone else would not have racked up that many charges!

Also, to get convictions of EVERY count, as charged, is a bit dodgy.

This was a witch hunt/frame up and a man who may have not even committed the murders is being sent away for them- even though he was not founbd guilty the first time.

The whole thing stinks and they will now send him away as if he is being punished for the murders and not the crimes he committed here.

Curious- Good on you for questioning! We all have to question the validity of even the most obvious, instead of letting others think for us.
Marcia Clarke signed a 4.2 million book contract 1 month before end of trial. A conflict of interest right there.
There was a Mark Furhman cover up and she fought to NOT let into evidence police documents that would have made them look worse than they all ready did.

UBERMOUTH said...

O.J was essentially charged for armed robbery, although he was NOT in possession of a gun, simply because the gunman{let off for turning state evidence) 'claimed' O.J told him to bring the gun.
How can a man be held accountable for another man's actions?

I also read a report by a secret agent that Det Lange, known for always carrying a knife, was involved in cutting a woman's head off , by slitting her throat, during a questioning gone bad, one year prior to Nicole's murder.
THis was covered up and the secret agent stated he was at crime scene at Bundy during crime- he claimed it was a police /prosecutors cover up. Blame the ex, who beat her once- who wouldn't believe that?

With other documents I have read,I, who was passionate that he was guilty, now have seen enough to seriously question.

Sorry for the long and exhaustive comments, but this whole thing screams witch hunt.

They got OJ? Wow.. where have I been hiding that I didn't hear this news before? *lol*

Greetings from the netherlands!

No matter how much I can't stand his smug ass, I still don't think OJ killed Nicole and Ron Goldman. We all know that when it's time to pay the pusha man, he'll go after what you love most...your family. Soooo naw, in my eyes, he didn't do it.

However, OJ gets the Lifetime Award for being a complete and utter greedy ass dummy. I'll bet that his sentencing won't just be from his recent "buffoonery", but from what alot of folks from Oct '95 thought he should've received.

He asked for this. I have no sympathy at all. I was one of those people that was happy he beat the murder rap. It signaled a new day for Black men on trial. This fool just set us back 40 years with this crap.
