A Blog dedicated to taking a look at my people and trying to uncover why it is that we do and say the things we say that only lead to our own detriment
Just a quiet, laid back kinda brother, who is proud to be black but not always proud of some of the things his black brothern do or say. Holla if ya hear me!
Actually, I kind of hope Obama secretly is a Muslim, since most Muslims are BLACK AND ASIAN, not Arab. Therefore, he will reflect the majority of people of color on the planet Earth who are NOT worshippers of some imaginary white dude name Jesus (unlike most black Americans).
Also, considering how fat ass most black Americans are compared to brothers and sisters in the diaspora, it wouldn't kill most black Americans to stop eating a pork chop or two. African muslims don't have the health problems blacks in the U.S. have.
There, One Man. Didn't see THAT coming, did you? (LOL)
The good thing about this campaign is the fact that racist people are out of the closet and we can see them and and call them for what they are. I remember as a little girl viewing the 30 minute broadcasts by J.B Stoner on local tv in Savannah. Hed be calling me an Nword and telling white folks to hate me. I thought they were gone. I now realize that hate is still out there. Lord, protect Barack Obama and his family. Place a circle of angels around his life and allow him to do your will in office. Cause we know he is going to win, despite the hate that is being spewed by fox news network, McSame and his cronies, and others. They are throwing rocks and then hiding their hands. Shame on them. I pray also that our nation can heal and my little Nman, who is multiracial, can walk down the streets in any neighborhood, safely and maybe one day, run for office too!. In the name of the Father, the Son and Holy Spirit. AMEN
They both say the exact same thing, except one spells it out for you and the other you have to think for yourself. If only the New Yorker didn't bore me to tears, I'd be filling out the subscription forms now.

One Man, so does this cartoon fall under the realm of unacceptable irony, or is there a difference between this and the New Yorker cover?

Come now, Curious. If you can't see the difference between this cartoon and the one on the cover of the New Yorker, I can't help you.
Oh my...
