A Hamster Called Rhino

Okay, I took my nephew to see Bolt this past Sunday and I gotta say it was a pretty good movie. Admittedly I feel asleep within the first ten minutes of the movie, so I have no idea of how Bolt got separated from Penny, nor do I know how he met his cat companion. Of course, how can you blame me, Manny had my ass up to well past 1. It might fault, because I keep replaying that damn movie, Ice Age, at his request. As soon as I put it on something I wanted to watch, his little ass conked right the fuck out. An then, true to form, he went from being on one side of the bed to being in the dead center, and me about to fall on the floor. It wasn’t until around 6 that I wised up and took myself into another room.
Anyway, by the time I woke up Bolt was in a trailer park and about to encounter the funniest addition to the movie; Rhino the Hamster.

Whoever wrote Rhino into the movie was a genius. That damn hamster had me cracking up. You could hear my laugh throughout the theater. He stole every scene and by the end of it I was wondering when Disney was going to give Rhino his own spin off movie. That damn rodent had me cracking up every step of the way and stole the entire movie. Bolt? Bolt, who? Where the hell is Rhino?

-One Man’s Opinion. Peace.

i can't help but LOVE how Rhino is just so serious about his ball... it killed me when i saw it in the little clips they have.

i don't know how disney does it, but it makes those cartoons just adult enough (and smart witted) for me to enjoy them... this is the problem with children... they are all smart asses now due to disney's genius of making adult kid movies...lol

I took my neices and nephews to see this, this weekend also. I didn't fall asleep until well after he stole the cat as his companion. That damn Hamster is my new BFF-- I just KNOW he's having his own movie. I was awaken from my beauty rest in the theater by the laughter of my neices/nephews when he hit the screen.

Overall, I give it 4 stars... anything that keeps them bastards entertained deserves some damn credit.

I LOVED LOVED LOVED LOVED LOVED LOVED LOVED this movie!!!!!

I took Buddha...I forgot to blog about it though.

This was WAAAAAAAAAAAY better than Madagascar 2.

Rhino WAS THE BOMB!!!!!!!!!

He's part wolverine and part wolf. Hilarious.

My favorite word from the film? Ridonkulous!

Mad that you fell asleep. You didn't miss too much though.

Mittens was the bomb....you kinda need to see her first scene.

I could see that again!

I haven't took my little one to see this yet. Maybe this weekend.

My son is a wild sleeper too. I've woke up to tiny feet near my mouth.

I just lost two of my beloved hamsters in the past year. Both lived in my house for three years. They were really cute and really sweet. They would run all over my house in their purple balls. : (

My kids saw it this weekend. My son says the movie was weak, but Rhino was the shyt. He was fascinated with this fighting style.

took the baby of four to see it Friday while the other three were at grandma's. As soon as she busted through the door at grandma's she had to share the details. I was like what the heck and started in with my details of wonderment. This of course made the other babies envious and eager so all of us ended up going the following day to see it. Twice in one weekend - insane.

Just saw this movie for the first time and remembered this blog post about half way through (I remember the silliest things) ... saw it at the $2 theatre and it was so much fun. When Rhino got excited and fogged up his ball, I laughed so damn loud in that theatre, I embarrassed myself. I agree - he needs his own movie.
