I thought this was very interesting and appropriate for Black History Month. I stole it from another blog site, but ain't that what Black History Month is all about?
-One Man's Opinion. Peace.

i don't think bush is as dumb as he seems
most people probably don't even look at his speeches when they come on TV but in those speeches he actually tells you how the american people are going to have to adapt to the new changes in the world
with the falling dollar they seem inevitable
I don't think Bush is dumb, Tubman. Hell, if he is dumb then how stupid does that make the American public for putting his ass in office, not once but twice. People are just mad about the war, but if you remember correctly...right after 9-11 people could say nothing bad about him. Hell, even the political cartoonist were painting him as a noble saint. Then, of course, it all went down hill from there. No, I would never peg the Pres. as dumb, I just thought the comic was cute and fit in with Black History month.
See...And you thought I was a hater.
hi Twin! miss you!!
You've been tagged! Come to Bria's Own Words for details!
and you better respond to it...it's not hard at all...promise.

brie brie
lol...i'm mad at the size of his ears...gees!!!...looking real monkeyish...
...i agree...that fool and the rest of those mofos aren't dumb...i can't listen to him because it turns my stomach that people think like him and he currently is president of a country i happen to be a citizen of...argghhh!!!...
You just cannot understand it (and many people around the world can't either) but if you ever did you'd know that it is a mindset that is BEYOND DANGEROUS. It is like there are a handful of Humans on the planet and everyone else are mounds of sentient moving meat things whose whole purpose is to just DO. And their thoughts and attitudes are COLOR BLIND, dismissive and cold. It’s not even racist; it’s just a deep focus on making a Pre-ordained event happen. Dare not challenge it.
I discovered it in College. Urban school system and then attending a Private College where the students all came from privilege, having political debates on the economy and International Relations, social issues and history then going out to lunch or dinner later and listening to people in relaxed conversation, there is a disturbing disconnect with the World. The disconnect might be disturbing but it is real because this few are in places of Power and Influence and they keep their connection close and small.
It’s like a destiny. The Bush Family is deeply rooted in the make-up of the United States. Their connection to it is deep in American politics, the Secret Service, US Intelligence (CIA), Military, Oil, Land Ownership, Associate with the Wealthiest people in the World, three presidencies, two governorships, slavery, elite organizations, Corporate Ownership .. you don't get to that point in life being DUMB. You get there by making sure the people around you are DUMB.
It's not that lame - but interesting none the less.
love political cartoons
Love the caricature of G-dub! LOL...hilarious!
One Man's Opinion has a good opinion! :-)
But i would not say he is tha sharpest needle in the tray, if you know where I am coming from...
The strip was far from lame and generated a chuckle from me!
One Man's Opinion, thanks for the fifteen minutes of infamy. Some day I'll get back around to puttin' more of my cartoon crap online. My apologies for the lack of updates. Like One Man's Opinion, I got's a day job to uphold!
Although, I will definitely draw that "Crack Rock in the Moonlight" idea (LOL)!
Thank you for not being mad at me for stealing you work, d aster. It was so good I could not resist. Everyone now knows the name of the man behind the mind. Very cool indeed.
Of Shazza is always on point.
No problem, bro, it's not "stealing." I'm not the RIAA (LOL).
Shazza, I was a poli sci major once a moon ago. I still think that Bush is the "useful idiot" (as Lenin might say) in the miltiary-industrial scheme of things. He may be connected to drama as you rightly point out, but he ain't really running it.
I'll leave the "speaking truth to power" to folks like Obama. As an erstwhile cartoonist, I'd rather play dozens to power. A race that can laugh through the African Holocaust is a race that is a healthy survivor. Joking (even while being shot at) helped me to come back from Iraq in one piece, while the more "serious" types are begging for meds at the VA.
Wow, D....Thank you for your effort at war, sir. Glad you made it back safe.
