I promised my "Twin" that if there was ever going to be a time that I was not going to be able to post, I would let it be known. Well, I hobbled my happy ass in here (because my wireless web isn't working) to let you good people know that this Flu Bug is kicking my ass. I caught it Saturday, from my little 2 year old nephew (yeah, I'm mad at him. I don't care). I started to hit me on Sunday and the temperature came on Monday. Now I have been constantly trying to break my fever. I can't get it to drop down under a hundred degrees. The highest it has been is a 103.9. Now you know it bad when your temperature is the same as a radio station. Anyway, the lowest I have been able to get it is 100.0. The adverage seems to remain around 102.3. I want yall to know that my whole body is in pain, to the point that even my eyes hurt and that I have to walk on tippy-toes to travel around the house. I am hot and cold at the same time (to the point that I am under the covers with the ceiling fan on), but my spirits are still high. I just wanted yall to know why I have not posted in a while. It truly hurts me even to type this damn post.
Before you ask, yes I have talked to a doctor and I am heavily medicated. I know what else you are thinks. This old ass negro is always sick. Damn!

Drink the fluids BUT you need to juice the fruit and veggies. If you don't have a JUICER use your blender.
Apples, Celery, Cucumbers, Spinich, Ginger, Strawberries, Pears, Blueberries, Carrots, Mango, Pineapple, Honeydew or Canolope, Beets, Lemons, Cabbage, Bananas, Raspberry, Green Tea leaves, Peppermint leaves, Lime, woodroot, Neem, grapes, flax oil, acidophilus and any three or 4 combinations ONLY.
No Solid Foods. You won't need it. Leave the medicines alone and sleep. Your body will recover and heal once you ride out the virus. once you recover, your body will gain the weight back practically over night once you start eating solid food again.
... you should JUICE on a regular anyway. Better for your immune system.

I am not sure if you can try this now, however, the next time you feel a virus coming (itchy throat, cough, stopped up or runny nose, etc.) take 100mg of Zinc, every 12 hours, for 3-4 days. Zinc helps to build your immune system.
Warning: DO NOT EVER TAKE ZINC ON AN EMPTY STOMACH. yOU WILL BE DOUBLED UP IN PAIN. Hold on it will get better.

if you really wanna cure yourself drink lots and lots of odwalla carrot juice

i had to do it while i was drunk

The Vegetable thing is not a bad idea! Get as much of nature into you as possible. For the fever try Tylenol Extra strength every 4 hours. That worked for me.
